Born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model who is well-known for her appearances in both movies and television shows. Having started her acting career by appearing on her role on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her next role playing Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, Brandt has been featured in numerous TV series, such as of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town in South African. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family in her teens. Her professional career began when she was a model in print and commercial ads. Before she rose to the spotlight as a model, she worked in retail sales as well as being an information technology recruitment consultant.
